Being 15: Generational Stories of the Teenage Years
Make a Documentary Short! See It on the Big Screen! Win Prizes!
Take your filmmaking to the next level by participating in Story Board's 2009-10 documentary filmmaking series Being 15: Generational Stories of the Teenage Years, a partnership with the MN History Center.
Documentaries have the power to change the world! The "Being 15" series not only teaches you the craft of documentary filmmaking, but also gives you the opportunity to tell a unique story about the teenage experience from a previous generation.
You don't need any filmmaking experience to participate. Our workshops, taught by professional filmmakers, are designed to help you with your project every step of the way.
Student's short documentary films will be screened on March 9th, 2010 at the History Center's 3-M Auditorium. Cash and prizes totaling $500 will be awarded in two categories, Audience Choice & Juried Prize!
See below full submission guidelines and click here for for workshop details.
